ok so bob hill sent e mail out it seems the club cannot afford to pay the living wage do not think it fair to pass increase on to customers so has taken caravan allowance off site teams, and taken responsibility payment away from all of the teams. then claims we will all be better off. so gov increase minimum wage and club cut us down again .it seems ccg was involved i thought they were there to help the site teams not to help the club rip us off again. it stinks.

Totally agree with you aretheyallin yet. Sad state of affairs when you should be greatful for being given what we are entitled to by new government legislation but any pay increase is clawed back in another way. Bet the ivory tower brigade don't have to worry and I bet Mr Hill will not be feeling the pinch!

yep,and all this with a history of trouble recruiting HSAs and then keeping em in the first year.If we are not careful we will end up only recruiting the un-employable and naive . Whilst the caravan allowance was never cash in hand( it was only an increase in your tax code). The removal of the responsibility allowance is a knife in the ribs The CC are still paying 10p an hour extra as you become 2nd and 3rd years(20p extra)and this hourly rate is on all and only on the hours you work.....they dont ask staff to work unpaid of course as that would be illegal The real cut has come as some site contracts have had an obvious cut in staff and paid contract hours..this started last year in anticipation of wage increases i think and is the real killer.
