EDINBURGH Heard a few staff grumbles over the years about this one, ive put it down to the large numbers of foreigners on site clogging up the drains with black toilet waste and washing socks in the sinks. Lets face it its a large car park for caravans and motorhomes and it does its job to perfection couldn't find any staff around as its a large complicated site and its the CC style of self pitching which seems to keep staff sightings to a minimum i suppose Does what it says on the tin

LAUDER a good location for doing nothing in ya van which is just what i did,,,shook off the red wine hangover at noon and strolled around a bit its a bit out of town ( its named Lauder in the style of Easyjet airports) the manageress rules the roost and the time goes by and by and by and by nice and friendly staff when i called by earlier on in the season

BUNREE
Smashing site, highly recommended, helpful manageress, right on the beach...its one of those sites you would love to work at a long as the weather was kind, spotless as always perhaps wouldn't suit staff who "like to be close to the shops " everyone happy and smiling

COBLELANDRed squirrels are so cute and the missus spends more time feeding them than me! Pleasant Scots managers ( why is it that nearly all club sites have English staff?) and helpful assistants/rangers fishing in the river is allowed and whilst the lower pitches are set in a lawn type area the upper are more "foresty" delightful bluebell walk in spring I gather from other staff ( not at this camp site i might add) that the pay and conditions are better with camping in the forest.........which is strange as they share the same HR dept and HQ

LUSSAll the sites around here suffer from the Glasgow kiss of death....Luss protects it self a bit by being members only( bet the other local sites wish they could too) sites a bit random spread along the loch with a noisy road running its full length New managers this year so cant reflect on past staff issues . A good site for staff who would like to explore the local area, the west coast is only a short drive away Thick skins might be required to deal with the mix of one-night German vans, English middle -class "glampers " and locals

LOCH NESS SHORESlovely site Its a franchise site so terms and conditions might not suit all types, a bit of bad luck with launch date resulted in it opening mid season so missing the site book !!!! Hard working managers and owners, private beach and boat access.. great toilets and showers powered by a innovative solar/ground heat system big supermarket( Tesco i think) on the way loved my stay

CASHELL (LOCH LOMOND)Well what can i say!!! this is one of two sites that gets hit on by every drunk/trouble camper from Glasgow on a fri/sat night..make sure you've got a booking on hard standing and bite your tongue if the manageress kicks-off!!! not for the faint-hearted. water access and smashing views best avoid sunny week-ends

DINGWALLThe jungle drums were beating very early for this one this season in Coventry. The early departure of the first assistants the newbie managers were given might point to more fun down the road. Campsite looks nice with flowers everywhere the East coast is cooler and drier than the rest of Scotland and whilst Rosemarkie would make a better stay for members and staff this site has a lidl and Tesco ( cheap fuel) Adj football stadium and railway line shouldn't put people off either

SPEYSIDE NICE TIDY WELL RUN SITE well kept grounds with loads to do around( if i could shake off the whiskey hangover off id go out do do some ...but i cant......reminder to myself "dont argue with the missus whilst pi**ed". Its the east coast so more gentle weather than elsewhere, striking distance of Inverness . this area has a nice cluster of sites ( most well managed and happy) and would make a good choice for staff we think
